If you did not know Marilyn Monroe was a beautiful American actress and model and icon of her time. She was known for her platinum blonde hair and her beautiful bold red lipstick but behind her beauty, she was suffering from depression and anxiety. It was also alleged that she had an affair with the president at the time John F. Kennedy as well as his brother Robert F. Kennedy (also known as Bobby) though this has never been confirmed.
Her death was considered a suicide but many factors have shown that this may not have been the case. So on the day of her death, it was considered that she acted how she would normally act and nothing out of the ordinary happened, to be considered as a reason why she would take her life. On that day, in particular, she saw her publicist, her housekeeper, a photographer and her psychiatrist amongst other activities she would normally do during the day.
Marilyn Monroe's mother suffered from mental issues and was institutionalised into a mental hospital while Marilyn was growing up. This caused Marilyn to be moved around many foster homes as a child and due to hereditary factors, she also suffered from mental illness as her mother did.
On the day of her death on August 5th 1962 at 4:30 pm she had a session with her psychiatrist it was said that he would see her very often as she was suffering from many mental issues the session was said to have ended at 7 pm (which is a very long time for a session). After the session ended her psychiatrist had a word with her housekeeper and told her to 'keep an eye on Marylin and to watch over her' this is something that he did not normally do after seeing her.
Then at 8 pm, she decided to go to her room she then had a phone call with her friend who was also an actor and the brother in law of the president at the time John F. K, Peter Lawford. He was inviting her over to attend his party that night and he said that during the phone call he could tell that something didn't feel right as he described her speech as slurred and she sounded as if she had been drugged. He also said that her last words were 'Say goodbye to Pat, Say goodbye to the President and say goodbye to yourself because you're a nice guy'. After those words, the phone call was disconnected and he was not able to reach her again (she was possibly dead at that point). Peter Lawford then decided to call his agent, then the agent called her psychiatrist and he decided to call her lawyer and then eventually after all those calls the phone call to her house was made (which is obviously VERY strange?!! wouldn't that be the first thing they would do to see if she was okay).

When the phone call was made the housekeeper Eunice Murray answered the phone call she then went to check up on Marilyn and found her nude on the bed and it was obvious right away that she was dead.
An autopsy conducted by Dr. Thomas Noguchi showed that Marilyn had overdosed on sedative drugs which could have been used to commit suicide. Suicide was the most popular cause of death for the star. A report from the coroner's findings showed that 'Miss Monroe has suffered from psychiatric disturbances for a very long time. On more than one occasion..... when disappointed or depressed she has made a suicide attempt, on these occasions, she had been rescued. It is our opinion the same pattern was repeated, except for the rescue'. Although this statement had some truth behind it not everyone brought it as Marilyn allegedly had many secrets.
Hiding something?
Something that happened which was strange was that if she did indeed overdose on pills then surely traces of the pills would have been found during the autopsy and this was not the case as no traces of any pills where found.
This sparked suspicion of there being more behind her death and also a large amount of evidence of her last hours had been destroyed or 'never found'. The official most known story states that her house keeper called Marilyn's psychiatrist and when he had arrived to the house he entered the bathroom widow, saw her body on the bed he then broke the window ad found her face down, with her phone in her hand, personally this sounds really strange and odd not to mention that other reports say that ' the ambulance took her body to Santa Monica Hospital, she then passed away at the hospital'. This caused confusion and flaws in the story suggesting that someone is hiding something.
There were many speculations of the president at the time and his brother both having a secret affair with Marilyn and that top president secrets (such as information about aliens, secret planets, cloning and various other secrets you will only know if you are elected the president of the United States) may have been accidentally revealed to her during their secret meetings during both affairs with the two brothers. The rumour is that when she was rejected by both of them, she could have possibly threatened to go public with the affairs and the presidential secrets.
Speculation about her having an affair with the president at the time was also enhanced by a video of her signing happy birthday to the president which I will link below.
Evidence showed that there was evidence of Bobby Kennedy being in California during the same weekend of her death and Marilyn was in her LA home meaning that he was not far from her location. This sparked suspicion that he could have had something to do with her death and maybe even ordering her death and because of the large time frame between her death and when the ambulance was finally called this could have been done purposely in order to give Bobby time to get away or have his alleged hired hit-man get away from the scene.
Others say that the Mafia could of have something to do with it, to possibly frame the Kennedy brothers or to shut Marilyn up as she could have wanted to even expose secrets relating to the Mafia and they could have even been the hit-men Bobby decided to hire.
So what really happened to the beauty?
Because there were so many cracks in how she died, even if she did have an overdose that lead to her death, why was so much of it covered up from evidence being 'lost' or destroyed in the process. Will we ever know what happened to the blonde beauty either way, her legacy lives strong and she seemed like a beautiful women inside and out dealing with the negative side of fame and metal illness and failed love. (she was soooo beautiful).

My skin is normal /sensitive and I have been using the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation for many years. However recently, it has stopped working so well with my skin I feel that at times it separates and I have no idea why it separates and starts looking patchy throughout the day. I have also become lighter so the color I was using which was shell beige is too dark for me. So I decided to try out a new foundation.
And as I have come across many raving reviews about Nars Sheer Glow I decided to go to my local Debenhams and get color matched. The women at the Nars counter knew immediately that my match was Barcelona which she also said is there most popular shade.
The color I was matched with suits my skin perfectly, and this is has been hard for me as my skin changes tone easily due to the weather/season. I normally apply the foundation with a beauty blender or a real techniques stippling brush out of the two I like the beauty blender more as it gives more of a flawless finish. I love the fact that the foundation has a dewy finish but can also be made matte by applying a powder over it, I like it dewy because it just looks like skin with a hint of glow which I adore. I have only applied this foundation without a primer as I am so used to skipping using primer because my old foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear) would stay on all day without the use of one and I must say that it does not have the longevity of my old foundation, but I will try it with a foundation and see if it makes any difference. Without a primer, I would say for me the foundation starts to fade away after six hours of wear.
For an everyday use, this foundation is perfect for me as it gives my skin the glow it needs however recently I have been giving my skin a break from makeup because I feel like my skin just needs to breathe. But when I get back into wearing foundation more often this is definitely the foundation I will be reaching for in the months to come.
One thing that annoyed me about this aswell as my Estee Laurder Double Wear foundation is that it does not come with a pump and I always forget to purchase a pump so I end up just pouring it out on the back of my hand. Which is unhygienic, messy and annoying I must remember to purchase a pump!! But apart from this I currenty love everything about this foundation and I am glad that I gave it a try.
When I found out that the vocal powerhouse Mariah Carey collaborated with Mac Cosmetics I just had to check out the collection. On a shopping trip to Westfield (Stratford), I walked past a Mac cosmetics store and straight away the display of the collection caught my eye. Especially the glittery lipsticks so, I just had to buy a lipstick, deciding what one to get was quite hard in the collection there are five shades. I swatched all shades on my hand and it was quite difficult to choose I will insert a picture of all five shades below.
Looking at all the colors I thought I would get a color that I would wear the most but looking back now I wish that I was more daring and get the brown (I GET SO OCC) or the champagne glitter one (BIT OF BUBBLY). Instead, the one I went for was Mcizzle which is more or a cooler nude, when I tried it out on my hand in store the colour was much warmer and I thought it would be a perfect nude for me but after taking it home and trying it on my actual lips the colour looks way too light of a nude for my skin tone. However, I will mix it with another lipstick of mine and get the perfect color for me, even though I do wish I got another color. I absolutely love the packaging of the lipstick it looks so glittery and elegant hence why it drew my attention straight away and the cute butterfly detail on the top of this lipstick is soo cute!!!
I love that Mariah did a collaboration with Mac and out of all the collaborations I've seen Mac do with celebrities this one has to be my favorite packaging wise as it is so glittery. (I am hoping that in the future they will collaborate in tribute to the late Aaliyah, that would be my make up dream).
The highlighter also caught my eye as it had a cartoon version of Mariah Carey (the same one from her Heartbreaker music video). I looked at the highlighter and I just had to get it just for the fact that the packaging looked so damn soo cute to me.
The actual color of the highlight is a golden brown color which is perfect for my skin color this is due to my skin tone becoming much lighter lately as I've sadly been away from the sun for such a long time which has made me have to go a couple shades lighter with my beloved Estee Lauder Double wear foundation. The highlight works great as a bronzer for me and has helped me become accustomed to using a lighter foundation in comparison to the one I was using before, I normally use the product on the top of my eyelids, the top of my cheekbones & the tip of my nose.
Overall I love both of my purchases from the collection and wish I purchased more which I probably will as I have my eye on the makeup brush and if I find it online I will definitely be buying it. Anyhow, I am an obvious fan of Mariah Carey and her music, so just for fun, I'm going to insert a few of her videos that I love below so check them out!!!!!

There are many conspiracy theories about Taylor Swift that I have come across, but I am going to write about the ones that are not so out there. And besides Taylor Swift is known to take down or make certain posts about her on the internet disappear so with that said let me begin to list the theories that have some truth to them.
1. The first one is that she could possibly be related to the creators of Satanism, to be precise the theory suggests that she is the daughter of Anton Lavey. This is because both Taylor Swift and Anton's daughter Zeena Lavey look exactly like each other. So this theory claims that she has to be somehow related to the family as they look so much like and that through her music they are using her to spread satanism from the use of her lyrics and music videos. Personally, I do think that this could be possible as there are so many subliminal messages that can be spread through the music we listen to.
2. The second conspiracy theory is that when she signed a contract with apple music, she was not happy about people streaming her music through having a subscription. And that she was annoyed that people were able to cancel their subscription after a 90 day period, which she thought was unfair and because of this apple music have agreed to solve the problem through royalties which is why she is in a lot of the apple music commercials, hmm this seems like a publicity stunt??
3. The third theory is that she acts like she is a sweetheart but in reality, she is actually quite the opposite. An example of this is the record she made called Bad Blood which she wrote about her ex-friendship with Katy Perry where she got a group of her friends in the video which was horrible of her if you look at it from Katy Perry's point of view.
4. The forth conspiracy theory is that she has an evil twin that currently lives somewhere in Japan I'll insert a picture below and you can obviously see the resemblance between the two which is from a Japanise Mc Donald's commercial.
5. The fifth theory is that Taylor uses black magic spells to brainwash people that listen to her music making them want to listen to her music more and more and to make sure that anyone that hears her will have her song stuck in there head for days. Which I personally believe this is true as there is a certain formula that artists and producers use in order to make a song catchy which is used for many pop songs, so I personally think that this could be true as it's not uncommon in the music industry (Marketing Science & Reputation).
6. The sixth conspiracy theory is that she is known for having her people remove any bad story or even any story she doesn't like about her on the internet such as Parodies and conspiracy theories immediately (ps. this post may somehow disappear and we will know why).
7. The seventh and the last theory is that she is an anonymous user of Reddit and 4chan, The reason behind this theory came from someone anonymously posting a picture of a cat asking people to help name the cat, then the following day the same agreed name which was on the website was the same name that she announced her cats name to be which was Maradith.
I absolutely love using highlighter, when it comes to my makeup but finding a good one that doesn't make you look like you have throw glitter all over your face like a disco ball is hard to find. Personally, I haven't used many and I only make sure I purchase ones that I am actually willing to use when applying my makeup.
However, I have many in mind that I am going to try out in the near future. On a trip to my nearest Mac Cosmetics counter, I was browsing through the makeup and thought to myself........hmmm let me try out a new highlight!!
So I asked a Mac employee to show me the powder highlights and she directed me and showed me the soft and gentle highlight and the global glow highlight. It took me a while to pick out what one to get out of the two and I was really close to buying both of them because of how nice they looked, but I managed to stop myself. In the end, I went for Global Glow,
I picked Global Glow because I felt that it matched my skin tone and it wasn't going to be an overwhelming highlighter and in comparison, I felt that Soft and Gentle wouldn't suit my complexion as good.
I love using the highlight whenever I do my everyday makeup as it is great for everyday because it's not as noticeable as other highlights on my skin tone. The brushes I use to apply the product are both from Real Techniques the fan brush & the base shadow brush these brushes are perfect when I apply the product and always give me the subtle look I go for, when it comes to my everyday makeup routine.
